What if I don't love the preview?
Then don't continue. The first preview is free. If you pay for the hardcover and change your mind, you can get a full refund within 24 hours of checkout, before you approve the print.
Will it really look like both of my children?
Yes. Add one clear photo of each child. We paint the older child from one photo and the younger from the other, with the same faces, hair and skin tone on every page. You'll see both children in the free preview before you decide.
Twins, close in age or years apart. Does that work?
Yes. You tell us the younger child's age, and you can add the older child's too. The book keeps a toddler a toddler and paints twins and close-in-age siblings about the same size. Nothing in the story depends on who is bigger: both children have a part of their own.
Is my child's photo private?
Yes. Your uploaded photos and details stay private: stored only while we create and support the book, never sold, and never used by tinyshelf to train models. Card details are handled by Stripe. If you want a photo or draft removed, email us and we'll delete it.
How long will shipping take?
Each book is printed to order. Production takes 3 to 5 days, then shipping takes about a week, and US shipping is free.
Is it a real hardcover book?
Yes. A genuine 8.5×8.5" casewrap hardcover with 32 full-color illustrated pages and both names on the spine. It's printed on thick, durable paper and built to survive years of bedtime reading.
Who is it for?
Any two children from about 2 to 10: twins, close in age or years apart. Add one photo of each child, both names and the younger child's age. Both of them are painted into one Christmas adventure, each with a part of their own, with both names on the cover and all through the story.
